Got a small powder coating operation? A lot of masking plugs and caps are sold in large quantities, and that's impractical for many small shops. It can be hard to know what masking is needed until the next job walks through the door - which needs to be coated yesterday, right? That leaves many small coaters in a bind: Either invest a lot in large quantities of caps and plugs they might not ever use much, or have to spend valuable time making half-measure masking from tape, paper or aluminum foil - that often doesn't perform adequately. Viadon's Multi-Use Starter Plug & Cap Kit (part # VJOBSHOPKIT) is a box of 8 different Silicone Plug and Cap sizes consisting of 3 different Multi-Flange Plug sizes AND 5 different Expandable Cap sizes. To purchase the regular bag quantities of 3 equivalent tapered plugs and 5 standard straight caps of comparable size, you'd have to spend spend over $300. And you still wouldn't be able to plug every hold or cap every thread/stud this kit can - smaller sizes would be missing, and you'd wind up with way more plugs than you could use (and spend a lot more). But with this kit - You get ALL the plugs & caps you need up to 0.709" / 18mm, in suitable quantities for a small powder coating shop, for just $65.
