Viadon's foil tapes include various metal foil tapes, including aluminum, lead, copper, and stainless steel options.
Series: AFLT
Aluminum foil tape for plating or anodizing masking, with chemical resistance and heat up to 250°F. Also provides EMI/RFI shielding using high-tack acrylic adhesive and dead soft foil that conforms to irregular surfaces.
Series: AF805-NL
Viadon's aluminum foil can be used to mask during plating, shielding, cleaning, paint stripping and etching applications up to 250°F. The dead soft foil will adhere and conform to irregular surfaces. UL 723 Rated, Boeing Approved; BAC-5034-4. This tape employs an acrylic adhesive. It is recommended for anodizing and plating applications. It is NOT designed for clean adhesive removal.
Series: VT461L
This is a dead-soft aluminum foil tape on liner - we slit to width and die cut to size in-house. Uses include sheet metal ductwork taping and excellent conformance to irregular or curved surfaces. Temperature range is excellent - particularly cold weather - and performs well in a variety of extreme humidity applications as well. Has superior durability and performance characteristics. Not designed for clean removal. Viadon's VT461 aluminum foil tape is 3M Venture 1520CW and meets UL723 flame/smoke ratings.
Series: LF420
Viadon’s 5 mil Lead Foil Tape is engineered for environments where standard rubber-adhesive tapes fail. While most lead tapes (like 3M 420) are rated for 225°F, our acrylic-based adhesive is effective up to 275°F (135°C), providing superior stability in high-heat plating baths and long-term shielding applications.
Series: VT304L
Non-corrosive, non-magnetic 304 stainless steel foil tape designed for marine, food processing, and nuclear applications. Features high reflectivity with acrylic adhesive on a release liner. RoHS compliant.
Series: VT290L
This is a zero-temper, high tensile copper foil tape of special electrolytic grade (see technical specs). The copper substrate accepts solder and is malleable. This tape may be used in industrial and electrical applications including printed circuit manufacture and repair, flexible flat conductor, electrostatic/EMI/RFI shielding and photovoltaic solar panel production. With a temperature range from -40°F to 325°F (-34°C to 163°C), the aggressive acrylic adhesive forms a permanent bond to low surface energy materials and textured surfaces, as well as non-porous surfaces. The malleable foil conforms well to irregular shapes and surfaces. It is UL 510 listed (UL file #E137857).
