Glass Cloth Tape
GCT series tape is the gold standard for thick film powder coating of 10-15 mils, such as electrical buss bars. Excels in high temperature oven cures above 400F or for extended bake cycles where polyester tapes fail. Ideal for blast masking to protect critical surfaces from blast media. Also works in plasma spray masking due to superior abrasion resistance. Compare to 3M 361, 3M 69 or Saint-Gobain 2915 glass cloth tapes. A 7-mil thermal spray masking tape engineered for HVOF, plasma spray, and grit blasting. Aluminum foil bonded to glass fabric with high-performance silicone adhesive rated for 500°F. Manufactured by St. Gobain, slit to width in-house by Viadon.
