Red/Clear Polyester Splicing Tape, 385°F (powder coating, e-coating, anodizing, plating, painting, splicing)

The VT929 polyester splicing tape is available in red and clear - all with the same conformable, low profile 1 mil carrier / 1.5 mil silicone based adhesive system (2.4 mil total thickness) and moderate adhesion characteristics at 36 oz/in per inch of width.

At 35 oz./in of tensile strength, this tape will withstand the rigors required of high-strength splicing and protection environments. Able to tolerate intermittent temperatures to 385°F, this tape also makes an excellent plating tape for printed circuit boards. Offers clean removal even after extended periods of adhesion.

Available in red and clear for ease in identification of various materials or master roll location points.

Rolls are 72 yards long and can be cut in custom widths upon request. Viadon slits all tapes in-house! PLEASE Contact Us if you do not see the width of tape you need listed below.   • Masking 101 Helpful Hints
    • Push down hard! This is a pressure sensitive adhesive tape - pressure is required for it to adhere properly to parts.
    • Clean parts thoroughly before applying tape.
    • Apply tape to dry surfaces only.
    • Tape is for intermittent, one-time use only.
    • Store rolls on end in a cool, dry place.
    • Shelf life is 12 months from date of purchase
