Polyester Tapes
The VT929 polyester splicing tape is available in red and clear - both with the same conformable, low profile 1 mil carrier / 1.5 mil silicone based adhesive system (2.5 mil total thickness) and excellent adhesion to silicone products with 30 oz/in per inch of width. This tape will withstand the rigors required of high-strength splicing and protection environments and even makes a great plating tape for printed circuit boards. Offers clean removal even after extended periods of adhesion. Available in red and clear for ease in identification of various materials or master roll location points.

As an equivalent to 3M 8991 with a 1 mil polyester carrier and a 1.4 mil silicone adhesive for a low profile. Provides clean removal after 400°F (204°C) up to 60 minutes.
