• Push down hard! This is a pressure sensitive adhesive tape - pressure is required for it to adhere properly to parts.

Green polyester masking disks/dots FAQ's

• What temperature will these disks handle and for how long? 400°F is the max temperature, which is sustainable for up to 60 minutes.
• Will they leave residue? When used on most clean, dry surfaces, these dots will remove cleanly with no residue.
• Are they suitable for e-coat/plating baths? Yes, our green poly circles are ideal for those processes and powder coating, anodizing, painting & Cerakote.
• Do they have a split back liner? While our standard disks do not have this feature, it can be requested and is ideal for larger quanitities.
• How do I prevent edge lift during cure? Two things: Pressure and time. This has a pressure sensitive adhesive, that takes time to flow-out. Push down the tape, give it at least four to six hours (ideally 24, expecialy for anodizing), then cure.
• What is the shelf life? 12 months from date of purchase. We go through a ton of this material, and it is made in the Midwest of the USA, so it arrives on our dock within days of manufacture and stays fresh for your masking needs.
