How Tape Die Cuts are Made

Industrial Grade Crepe Disks, 200°F (painting)

Industrial grade crepe tape is what most people would term "regular masking tape", and these disks are made from Intertape's industry-standard PG-505 material. Low in cost, but high in quality, these 6.1 mil thick disks have a natural-rubber adhesive system designed to withstand low-temperature backing cycles for wet-spray masking applications up to 200°F. Possessing good tensile strength, the crepe paper carrier allows for forming the tape around irregular and curved surfaces. Not recommended for outdoor exposure. Also available in slit rolls.

  • Die-cutting is done in-house. Can be die-cut to nearly any shape and size; sample die cuts can be made with NO TOOLING charge.
  • Disk sizes up to 24" are also available - ask us about larger stock sizes available with no tooling charge.

Need another shape? Ask us! Squares, donuts, rectangles, ovals, triangles - plus intricate or other non-standard shapes can be made into tape die cuts as well.

Viadon has some of the most competitive tooling costs in the industry! Be sure to have Viadon quote your next custom die cut. Short runs of certain sizes may be available with NO tooling cost - Contact Us for more details.
