• What does the releaes liner do? The release liner allows the user to cut the tape to length or size and to better place the tape in a small section before peeling off the liner and adhering it to a clean, dry surface.
• What is the max continuous temperature? With an acrylic adhesive system, the max continuous temperature of this stainless steel foil tape is 250°F.
• Does it resist moisture/salt spray? 304 stainless steel offers moderate resistance to moisture and salt spray; it's good for general use and mild coastal areas but struggles with direct, heavy, or prolonged exposure to saltwater or road salt. It handles general humidity and occasional splash well (like kitchen use).
