Custom Green Polyester Masking Tape Die Cuts from plotter-cutter
The customer who required the custom molded silicone masking plugs found at this page (they tried this die cut where the blue mask is on the metal part on that page), wanted to first try a less expensive / faster design-to-production part. They asked if Viadon could produce masking tape die cut samples for them to test. Our response?
"Of course!"
Our plotter-made samples (turn-around time: Same Day) allowed the customer to test the fit, design, and whether using the custom tape die cut made sense from a time and cost perspective.

Ultimately, they decided that the custom silicone masking plug was a more viable option, but the no-cost, quick-turnaround die cut sampling process helped them reach that conclusion in just a few days' time, without having to spend weeks or months with tool-made parts in large production quantities that ultimately did not work for them.
AND... they didn't have to hand-cut them; the parts fit perfectly from their drawings and our plotter-made die cuts. They were able to peel, stick and test, saving huge amounts of time.
The customer appreciated the fast response, and the assistance in helping them reach the best solution for their needs, even if ultimately they decided to go a different direction.
