The customer who required the custom molded silicone parts
found at this page (they tried it where the blue mask is on the metal part), wanted to first try a less expensive / faster design-to-production part. They asked if Viadon could produce samples for them to test. Our response?

Our plotter-made samples allowed the customer to test the fit, design, and whether using the custom die cut made sense from a time and cost perspective. Ultimately, they decided that the custom silicone part was a more viable option, but the no-cost, quick-turnaround die cut sampling process helped them reach that conclusion in just a few days' time, without having to spend weeks or months with tool-made parts in large production quantities that ultimately did not work for them. The customer appreciated the fast response, and the assistance in helping them reach the best solution for their needs, even if ultimately they decided to go a different direction.
