The best powder coating caps

Viadon stocks a full range of high temperature masking caps that are ideal for use during powder coating. Below is a short description of the different types of caps we carry. These withstand temperature up to 600F, and are available in the following configurations:

  • High temperature silicone powder coating capsStandard straight wall caps - Powder coating masking caps with inside diameters ranging from 0.070” up to 2.0”. Some are available in various lengths including ½”, ¾” 1” and 1.5”. 
  • Expandable caps - These are caps with a wider interior dimension for most of the length of the cap, with a small ID “neck” at the open end. This allows a single cap to be used on a wider range of studs, pins and threads.
  • Flange caps - Straight wall caps that have a large diameter flange at the bottom, perfect for creating a concentric masked area around a stud, pin or thread, often for grounding purposes
