High Temperature Orange Polyester Masking Tape, 425°F
Got a powder coating application at or above 400°F, but under 425°F? When green polyester
doesn't quite work but polyimide and glass cloth are too expensive, orange poly is the
solution. Made in America, it employs the same thickness of polyester as the green tape,
but uses a modified orange-colored adhesive that gives it just a bit more heat resistance
than other polyester masking options. Save money on the tape over the white or amber ones,
and avoid rework! What's not to like? Perfect for powder coating, e-coating,
anodizing, plating, splicing.
This tape has a 2 mil carrier and 1.4 mil pressure sensitive adhesive, providing
the good ‘tack’ necessary to adhere to parts, but the thinner
carrier gives it amazing conformability. The polyester material is designed with an adhesive
employing a special additive to withstand 425°F and removes cleanly from nearly all
substrates. Works well in die cut form too.
Rolls are 72 yards long and can be cut in custom widths upon request.
Viadon slits all tapes in-house! PLEASE Contact Us if you do not see the width of tape you need listed below.
