Viadon's Silicone Flangeless Plugs (SFP's) are especially well suited for threaded holes. They are more effective than standard tapered plugs, because they also mask the top thread, without masking the surrounding area. They are perfect for masking blind holes during powder coating, e-coating, and anodizing and also work in certain plating situations.

Color coded with a convenient pull handle, SFP's are easy to insert and remove and are re-usable. Capable of withstanding temperatures up to 600°F / 315°C.

  • Masking 101 Helpful Hints
    • Flangeless plugs not only mask threaded holes well, but they can be used for blind and straight-walled holes as well.
    • Try cutting the plugs to shorter lengths if the plug does not engage until the top/larger portion of it. The handle makes it well-suited for fast insertion/ removal situations.
