Silicone Pull Plugs

Series: SPP

Silicone pull plugs for masking thru-holes (600°F)

Pull Plugs (SPPs) provide a fast, efficient solution for masking through-holes during painting, anodizing, powder coating and other finishing processes. Their unique pull-through design allows for quick, easy installation—simply pull the narrow handle to securely seat the larger plug in the hole. This saves time, simplifies threaded hole masking, and helps reduce labor costs while delivering reliable protection throughout the finishing process.

  • High Temp Resistance: Withstands up to 600°F (315C°C), ideal for powder coating cure ovens.
  • Versatile fit: Designed to mask both threaded and non-threaded thru-holes.
  • Reusable: High-grade silicone rubber will not harden or melt, allowing for multiple uses.
  • Chemical Resistant: Safe for use in anodizing, e-coating and electroplating baths.

Sizing for Immersion
Major diameter should be 3-7% larger for immersion applications (plating, anodizing, e-coating).
Lubrication
Lubricate with water or alcohol if plug is slightly oversized.
