Non-Adhesive "Dry" Vinyl Tape

4.0 mils thick, 176F non-adhesive/dry vinyl wrapping tape is chemical and solvent resistant. Clings to itself with superb conformability when stretch-wrapped around parts for hard chrome plating, anodizing, blasting or wire-harness applications.

Used in hard chrome plating or anodizing, this dry vinyl tape is ideal for wrapping around racks or parts where other tapes do not stretch or conform to the geometries. In automotive use, it is ideal for wire harness wrapping and cable bundling — clings to itself without damaging wires with adhesive residue.

Also conforms around complex shapes while withstanding continuous temperatures up to 176F. For blasting, offers zero sticky residue when removed - perfect for automotive/specialty vehicle applications.

  • Masking 101 Helpful Hints for Dry Vinyl Tape
    • Clean parts thoroughly before applying tape
    • Mask 2 to 3 times faster than adhesive vinyl tapes using reverse wrap method
    • Successfully used in hard chrome plating, Type ll and lll anodizing, blasting @ 60 to 100 PSI media sizes 180 to 50, vapor blast, paint (Boeing Epoxy primer on anodized aluminum, chemical milling on circular parts, masking top of printed circuit boards for fume protection, harness wrapping, protective wrap of parts to prevent corrosion / pipe wrap
    • High elongation (225%) / good strength (2000 PSI MIN) offers superb conformability on complex shapes and geometries
    • Wrap tape with some overlap; dry vinyl has good "self-cling" properties
    • Store rolls on end in a cool, dry place.
